Happy New Year

I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! 2014 was a challenging year for me but God is good to me and my family. He blessed us with so many things that is beyond my human thinking. I'm looking forward to 2015 and see what God has for me as I faithfully serve and love Him more. I would like to blog more in 2015. 2014 I blog very little and that made me sad. The car accident a year ago stop me from do so. Something I love and enjoy doing but couldn't do much of.

Something small I gave to my friends as a "thank you" for helping me. A little note card and a crochet snowflake tie to a rock candy. I randomly stamped snowflakes and then added a snowflake sticker to one of the snowflakes. Stamped a "thank you" sentiment and the card is done. Easy to do.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful start in 2015!

Christmas Gift Boxes

Made some gift boxes filled with treats and a can of David's tea for the teachers for Christmas. I used the Punch Box Board to make these. They were tall boxes and the punch box board did not have the measurements for such tall box so I made them myself. I just used the scoring and punch part.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Frozen Theme Birthday Party

I finally got the chance to post this. It took awhile for me to upload the pictures because I have to wait for a computer to be available to be use.

This was my first time to do a theme party for my girls. I did a "FROZEN"theme. It was a lot of work but it was all worth it. Martin was so wonderful to allow me to do such thing. He paid for all the supplies and went around town with me to get them.

Martin did the invitations on the computer and printed out. I stamped snowflakes on them. Added a jewel to the middle of each big snowflakes to add bling to the card.

I made the "FROZEN" word in a blue glitter paper. I love the blue glitter paper. So pretty! Looks better in real person.

This was sweets buffet table. I didn't have the sufficent time to decorate so I was a little disappointed. I did my best to decorate anyway. It turned out nice though. Just not how envision it. I'm so thankful a friend came and helped me decorate. I couldn't have done it without her.

A "HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAITH AND HOPE" sign above the sweets buffet table. The banner was done on glitter paper using the pandent die with snowflakes from the Festive Fluries die.

The birthday girls made this garland to go in the front of the sweets buffet table.

I made all these sweets for the very first time except for the candies. I know. Crazy, eh? I searched the web to find recipes and videos on YouTube on how to make them. I learned quite a lot. Now I'm a pro at making sweets. Just kidding. There are still a lotto learn.

First time I learned to frost a cupcake like this. Made it swirly and pretty. It was actually quite easy to do. I normally just use a knife and slather frosting on top of the cupcakes. Very unattractive.

The meringue was a challenge to make but after a few tries it turned out perfect. Look pretty only for the party. Not going to turn out next time. I know it.

My sister helped me make these cake pops. She's so wonderful! Thanks Lisa!

These were chocolate sugar cookie snowflakes. It was tidious work putting the chocolates on the cookies. Don't know how to make them look nice. Sigh!

Table setting for all th young guests.

I crocheted the snowflakes for each of the drink bottles.

Got this snowflake tin from Costco and it was perfect for my centre piece. It came with the chocolates too! Yum!

Some die cut glittery snowflakes. They sat on top of tissue paper snowflakes.

One of our activities. Build a snowman out of marshmallows. "Do you want to build a snowman?"

Blue punch drink.

I made tutu loot bags out of felt, tulle and lace. I also crocheted snowflakes and added it to the front of the bag.

Here is a picture of the fleece scarves on my girls. I forgot to take a picture of the scarf with the bag together. The scarf goes with the loot bag. I crocheted a matching snowflakes for the scarve. Same pattern but thicker yarn. I sewed the dresses for the girls too. They really love it.

I don't know how to make a cake so I ordered 2 cakes from Dairy Queen. Frozen ice cream cake. Perfect for the theme party.

Thank you for stopping by and for reading this long post. Hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy sharing the picture with you. Have a greattach day! Happy Stamping!

Eliana Baby Paint Can

I made a personalized baby paint can and crocheted a hat to go inside the can. I never use this colour combo before. It actually looks nice together.

I put lots of flowers on the can.

The recipient can put the baby's picture on the outside of the can.

Thanksgiving Turkey

Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers! I made these for the school kids for our Canadian Thanksgiving last month.

It has been awhile since I last blog. I still don't have a new computer yet. I use my husband's. He does a lot of graphic related stuff for some churches so I don't want to add more photos to his computer that will take up the memory spaces. I take a lot of pictures.

The kids all loved these little boxes especially the treats that was inside it. Of course.

The turkey was made from an owl punch and a flower punch. The box was from the Box Punch Board.

Thank you for stopping by!

Blogging Break

Well, my laptop is broken. I do all my stamping creations and blogging with it. I lost all my files. Boo hoo! It depends on how long the British Columbia teacher strike will be my husband (he's not a teacher) will have to work part time. Not much income will be coming in so I will not be getting a new laptop anytime soon. And my son's laptop was broken few months back. He needs a laptop for school. He is using his dad's right now. So that's 2 laptops down and 3 people sharing one. Also, my Canon DSLR camera was broken a couple of months back. Yes, a certain teenager broke it. No, my son didn't do it. He is a responsible young man. One of his friends did it. Now my son has to save money for a new one. He loves photography and he could have use that as one of his electives for school. Now he can't do that. Because of all of our gadgets broken at the same time I've decided to take a blogging break. Not sure how long that will be. Saving money with one income is not easy. Will take me awhile. Anyway, enjoy visiting my old posts. I'll be back some day.

Butterfly Wedding Card

A monochromatic wedding card for a couple getting marry. The bride favourite colour is green so this is the card I made for them.

I died cut the heart using 2 hearts from the Hearts Collection Framelits Die. I put the small heart in the middle of the bigger heart and cut them out at the same time.

The butterfly was from the Simple Friendship stamp set. I was debating if I should have 2 butterflies on this card but I ended up leaving it the way it is. I love the line of pearls at the bottom of the card. Hope calls them doggy paws. If you cut the big pearl with some small pearls that's what you'll get. She's funny. She sees things that no one sees.

Paper Bag Packaging

Hello stampers! I'm trying to use these flat brown paper bags I have for awhile. I want to put treats in them to give to people on their birthday. I don't think I'm doing a good job at it. Not very creative in this kind of thing.

I stamped butterflies at the bottom of this bag. Tie a "happy birthday" tag with a twine and wrap it around the bag.

I stamped birds all over this bag and adhere the "happy birthday" tag to the bag. I then tie a baker's twine at the top of the bag.

Well, that's the best I can come up with for now. Will have to try to make more different ones to get better at it.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Camping Trip Album/Journal

Hello stampers! Wow, it has been a month since I last blog. I've been busy altering dresses and away a lot.
I volunteered for 2 weeks at Camp YES! and then went to our yearly family camping trip. I think I'm all camped out for now. It is always fun camping but tiring at the same time.

I made this album for my girls. They request for one every year so that they can record our family camping trip. I love reading what they wrote and drew about the trip.

I stamped each and every pages in the album. I leave the cover and inside pictures the way they are so that my girls can colour them how ever they want them to.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Butterflies Thank You Cards

Hello stampers! I needed "thank you" card so I made 2 different butterfly cards. I made one in blue and one in peach colours. These were fast and easy to make.

The big butterfly on this card was made by tracing the biggest butterfly on the butterflies die cut pieces onto a pattern paper and then cut out. Easy pessy. I tied a baker's twine to the pattern paper butterfly just for looks. It looked kind of plain without it. I don't have a blue baker's twine so I had to use what I have.

This card is pretty much self explanatory.  I like the simplicity of this card yet pretty.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
