The Party Is Almost Over

The 20% off sale on Birthday stamps is almost over. Here is the last of some great ideas from the Stampin' UP! artisan of the year winners.

This one is made using the Party Hearty stamp set and BIG SHOT machine with the Scallop Envelop Bigz die.
This adorable pouch is made from Party Hearty stamp set and Sizzix BIG SHOT machine with the Pennant Bigz XL die and Shelli's Signature Top Note Bigz die.

This beautiful box is made using the Party Hearty stamp set and Sizzix BIG SHOT machine with Shelli's Signature Top Note Bigz die.

One Of a Kind Shaker Card

This card is one and only card. I can only make one. A lot of SU stamps comes die cut now and I saved the extra rubber to make this shaker card. I saw this video here and thought I try it out.
Meg did a great job on showing how to make a shaker card with left over rubbers.

Here is a close up of the shaker card. I think it needs more.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin Patch

It was a gorgeous day so we went the pumpkin patch. It was busy with lots of kids for the school field trips. Mostly kindergartens.

We made it our yearly family trip to the pumpkin patch. We took a hayride to the patch and there we picked four pumpkins. This year my DH didn't want such big pumpkins so we got small ones. They were still too big for my 5 years old to carry and with an almost 2 years old around it was even harder. We like to roast the pumpkin seeds after they are carved. mmm Yum!

We took lots of pictures and hopefully I'll get them scrapbook soon. We'll see.

That's the highlights of our trip. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Season Of Friendship

Happy Sunday! I love this card. I love the colours of Autumn. They are so pretty. God's handy work is so magnificent in all His creations. God love us so much that He created beautiful things for us to enjoy. What a great God he is!

I used the Season of Friendship stamp set from the Holiday mini to make this card. I stamped all the leaves with More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and Really Rust inks and Chocolate Chip for the trunk.

Have great day and thanks for visiting!

Craft Class

Tonight is the Ladies' Craft Night at my church and we're making Christmas ornaments. Those boxes that says "Merry Christmas", I cased it from Stampin' Success (demo monthly magazine). Very neat and you can put stuff in them. I punched the top of the box and put a silver cord through it. You can hang them to the tree or put them on the mantel.

Have a great weekend!

Couple's Retreat

Thank you for all the kind comments. We had a great time at the retreat. It was nice to go away without kids hanging around. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures but here are some.

This table was filled with prizes for the games. We won a CD for one of the game.

A beautiful flower garden outside of the conference room on second floor at Rosedale on Robson. That's the hotel we stayed at. My DH took pictures of all the couples individually in this garden.

There was tables decorated where every couple sat.

Close up of this beautiful flower arrangement. These candles were lit during the opera we had on Friday night. Couldn't get a good picture of the opera singer. It was too dark. The couples at each table who married the longest got to take this flower arrangement home.

Thanks So Much Silhouette

Good morning! It's chilly today but sunny outside. Feels like winter already. Brrr!

Another card using the Pocket Silhouette. I used the Coluzzle Cutting system to cut the ovals. I used the corner punch and punch around the larger oval to get the scallop look. For the background I did the grid technique and pierced holes on the joined lines.

I'll be away tomorrow to the Couple's Retreat host by Metro Baptist Church. This is their 10th anniversary retreat and I'm excited to be there. It is also Canada's Thanksgiving weekend this week so I'll be away until Tuesday. To all the Canadians have a Happy Thanksgiving! I thank God for all the wonderful friends I meet and blogging friends. Your comments lifts me up every day so keep them coming.
