Daily Craft TV and a Giveaway

Hello, stampers! Have you heard of Daily Craft TV before? It is a great site. Daily Craft TV is a community showing new craft ideas & projects with online webinar videos. Expert instructors provide online craft classes in Quilting, Scrapbooking, Sewing, Crocheting, Knitting, & Paper Crafts.

I viewed one of their videos on Scrapbooking and I'm happy with it. The video is called Material Girl Scrapbooking Class. I love Creating Keepsakes magazine and the video I watched the instructor is from Creating Keepsakes. Squeal! That was awesome! This class teaches you a step-by-step instructions to make a 2 pages layout. The instructor gives you other option of materials to use if you don't have the product that was suggested in the video. Whatever you have on hand. You learn new technique on paper piercing and hand stitch embroidery onto the layout. That's something fun to do if you love sewing but you don't have to know a whole lot of sewing to do this. If you love flowers you'll love this class. It teaches you how to make four different flower accents that goes nicely onto your pages using buttons, felts and embroidery floss and other notions. I can't tell you enough how fun it is to watch the video. I'm inspired now to do scrapbooking again. It's been awhile. I got piles and piles of picture that need to be scrapbook.

Daily Craft TV has graciously giving away a FREE class to one of my readers. To win a free class simply visit their site, come back and leave a comment on which class interests you or just comment is fine. I'll pick a winner on July 3, 2013 at 10pm Pacific time. Have fun!

Graduation Caps For The Graduates

This year there was a lot of high school graduates from my church. There were 12 of them. I made the cards using the Great Grads stamp set (retired). I made the cards first so they were in black and white.

I made the caps after the cards and didn't have enough black card stock so I made 3 caps in black for the boys and the 9 red caps for the girls. The reds caps didn't match the cards but it still look nice.

ETA: You can get the grad hat tutorial here.

Aren't these grad caps the cutest ever?

The grad caps are little treat boxes and were filled with yummy treats. The boxes were made using the Petal Cone Die which I love so much and use it a lot but now it is retired from Stampin'Up!

Those are buttons at the top of the cap to hold the tassels down.

The card and cap was put together in a cello bag and tied it with ribbons to pretty up the packaging.

Thank you for visiting today! Happy Stamping!

Bunny Baby Card

Hello, stampers! Hope you are having a wonderful Friday. I made this card for baby Marianne. She's so adorable. I used the A New Little Someone stamp set to make this card. Love the cute little bunny!

I crochet a multi colour hat for the baby. I love the colour combo! You can watch a video on how to make this hat here. This time I adhere the flower to the hat with a button and the flower and button are removable.

Crochet Brooch

Hello, stampers! Good day! I crocheted a rose brooch for a friend's birthday. Her favourite colour red so I made a red one for her. You might remember if you have been following my blog for a long time the brooch I made here a couple of Christmas ago. I did some adjustment to the rose. I didn't like the one I made for before. It was too flimsy.

I stamped a piece of card stock, put the stamp piece and the brooch in a cello bag and then put a topper on top. A pretty presentation.

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Graduation Cards

My nephew Alex had his grad ceremony yesterday. He graduated from grade 12 and this was the card I made for him. It took me about 10 minutes to make this card. Wow! I've never made a card this fast before.

Here Alex and me.

Hope (6 yrs old) had to get in on it too so this was what she came up with. Isn't it a beautiful card? She amazes me all the time. Faith helped her with the letters.

I love the cap and the diploma she made. So cute! I love the tassel too! I don't know how she came up with it nor do I know how she knows about the cap and diploma are for graduation. She is full surprises.

This is the best part of the card. Under their names there is a fine print that made me laugh so hard. So hilarious! Must be Faith who wrote that. She is so funny! Love my girls!

Little Girls' Birthday Cards

Good day! I made two birthday cards for 2 little girls' birthday this week. I have not stamp much lately so I really enjoyed making these cards. Stamping makes me happy. I know it is weird but it keeps me calm and helps me relax from my busy day.

I used one of the Simply Scappin' Kit to make these cards. It is easy and fast for me when I don't have a lot of time to come up with a card that uses stamps. Only used stamp for the sentiment.

Thank you for visiting today! Happy Stamping!
